SocialDesk is operated by Bright Side Social Lab LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, 213 Ashawn Blvd, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@brightsidesociallab.com.

• Account information: your name, email address, password credentials, agency name, and workspace settings.
• Client and workspace content: client records, posts, captions, media you upload, notes, approvals, and reports you create.
• Connected social account data: the accounts you authorize, plus the posts, comments, messages, and metrics we retrieve on your behalf.
• Usage information: basic logs such as pages visited, actions taken, device and browser type, and timestamps, used to keep the service secure and working.

When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram business account, or TikTok account, you grant SocialDesk permission to act on your behalf. We use that access only to:

• List the accounts you can manage so you can choose which to connect.
• Create, schedule, and publish the content you compose in SocialDesk.
• Read and reply to comments, mentions, and messages inside your SocialDesk inbox.
• Retrieve performance metrics and insights to build your analytics and client reports.

We do not use platform data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine learning models. Platform data is used solely to provide the features you asked for, and is handled in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.

Access tokens issued by social platforms are stored server-side, encrypted at rest, and are never exposed to your browser or to other customers. You can disconnect any account from SocialDesk at any time, which revokes our stored token. You can also revoke access directly from Facebook settings, Instagram settings, or your TikTok account settings.

• To provide scheduling, publishing, inbox, analytics, reporting, and client portal features.
• To authenticate you and protect accounts against abuse.
• To generate AI assistance such as caption drafts, when you request it. Prompts are sent to our AI provider for processing and are not used to train their models.
• To communicate about service issues, changes, and support requests.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate SocialDesk (hosting, database, email delivery, and AI processing), with the social platforms you connect when carrying out your instructions, and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

If you invite a client to a portal, that client can see the content, approvals, and reports you share with them for their own workspace only. They cannot see other clients or your agency-wide data.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your workspace content and revoke stored platform tokens. Backups are purged on a rolling basis within 30 days. See our Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and remember workspace preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

SocialDesk is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Our infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. Email contact@brightsidesociallab.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes will also be sent to the email on your account.
